Air layering is a popular plant propagation technique, where a plant's stem that either has a node (growth point) or has been cut is securely wrapped in a growth medium such as sphagnum moss, which allows roots to form and develop until it is ready to be cut from the mother plant. This technique encourages plant cuttings to develop stronger roots faster, whilst still attached to the mother plant which continues to grow. Results are usually seen within 6 to 8 weeks.
These air layering propagation pods interlock and secure on the plant's stem or branch, and can be placed on either available nodes or a cut. They impose minimal disturbance and have no adverse effects on your mother plant. They can also be reused after sanitisation, ready for your next propagation.
The pods come in three different sizes and come in transparent, white, green and black colours. Purchase 2, 3 or 5 packs to save!
